„Sunset“
€21.00
The painting “Sunset in Trogir” was created, naturally, right in the Croatian town of Trogir. I watched this exact sunset for nine whole months, and every single day was different. Every evening was breathtaking, grand, and absolute perfection.
In autumn and winter, the sun sets in entirely different colors than in summer; the contrast of the muted surroundings highlights and lets the colors spilling over the horizon truly shine. It’s an event worth catching every single day! The experience was amplified by the clinking of ropes against sailboat masts in the nearby Seget marina, making the „seaside“ feel even richer each evening. I must have seen this sunset from my window and balcony a hundred times, and it was without a doubt one of the most beautiful places I have ever lived. Not everyone gets such an opportunity, and I might never get it again, so painting it was never a question of if, but rather: how many more times will I paint it?
To all of you landlocked souls secretly and desperately longing for the sea and salt on your sandals every single day, this painting is for you. It brings a sense of peace, embodied in the gentle tones of a sweet, approaching summer. This is what waiting looks like. We can wait together:)

Maľba “Sunset in Trogir” vznikla ako inak priamo v Chorvátskom meste Trogir.
