That rare and fleeting moment when the rain has stopped, yet water still falls intensely from the forest canopy. The sounds of the woods have returned, the grass is soaked, and the scent of the forest is deep and fresh. It’s as if everything has been given a new facade, the forest suddenly looks more beautiful and refreshed, as if someone had tidied it up.

The sun is slowly piercing through the crowns of the wet trees, but it won’t shine for long, it’s just before dusk. That is the moment. That subtle, earthy scent of wet moss and bark. Ten vzácny ale rýchlo pomynuteľný moment, keď v lese už neprší dážď, ale ešte veľmi inzentízve padá voda z korún stromov. Už sa do lesa vrátil jeho zvuk, tráva je premočená, vôňa lesa je intenzívna a svieža. Všetko akoby dostalo novú fasádu, zrazu je les krajší, sviežejší, akoby ho niekto upratal, slnko sa už pomaly prediera cez koruny mokrých stromov ale nebude svietiť dlho, je tesne púred súmrakom. To je ten moment, to je tá jemne hubová vôňa mokrého machu a kôry. Počuť ďatľa a kukučku… iba tak v diaľke. Aká je vaša vzácna spomienka na mokrý les, máte nejakú?:)
